GREAT NEWS………. WE’RE MOVING BACK!
I am pleased to announce that we will be moving back to our old home, 36 Armstrong Ave. , Georgetown, in July. practices will begin on MONDAY, JULY 18TH, 2011.
Repairs to the gym included replacement of the wall in the main gym as well as reinforcements of several other walls. This work has been performed with the authority of building permits issued by the Town of Halton Hills and under close scrutiny of Town inspectors. Certification of structural integrity and safety will be posted in the gym prior to our July 18th opening. We will have new equipment including mats, uneven bars and foam for the pits and we are working on other improvements including parking, gym paint and lights. We are 100% confident that the gyms will be safe and better than ever.
We appreciate your great support during this time of transition and are very thankful to the Acton Curling Club and the Town of Halton Hills (Acton Arena) for the use of their facilities for May and June. However, it will be good to move back. As Dorothy from the Wizard of Oz once said….. “There’s no place like home”.
Thanks again for your support and patience!
